Vince helped spread the word about Bark at the Wheel adoption event held at the SkyStar Wheel – the largest portable observation wheel aka a ferris wheel – in Cincinnati on Sunday April 7, 2019 and it was fantastic!
Over 1000 people attended with 500 dogs who got to ride SkyStar with their humans and help raise $2500 for Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society!
Our friend, AdventureMom, who is one of Vince’s biggest fans was there so I was excited to give her some Vince’s buttons. In an upcoming post, I’ll share how you can use the library to create swag for your dog!
Vince and I did not ride the Wheel and instead mingled with those on the ground since Vince’s favorite thing to do at events is get love from people.
Around SkyStar vendors were set up for shopping and learning more about the dogs available for adoption.
I’m very fortunate to have friends who support Vince’s presence online.
And Vince’s frenchie gal pal, Riley, who I would have never met if not for showing up at a French Bulldog playgroup when Vince was a puppy.
I spent some time over at The Queen City Sings sculpture to offer to take photos of dogs with their humans.
We had a great time at Bark at the Wheel and Vince was tired most of the next day!
For all the people who think it is ridiculous to have an online presence for Vince, there are plenty more who will come out to have fun with their dogs and help raise funds for those pups who need an extra boost finding their forever home. Because of that, I wrote about how to Lend Your Instagram Dog to a Good Cause to inspire others to lend a paw to their community!
